24 de junio de 2014 Principios y procesos de una situación plural. sobre 3 circunstancias recientes y sobre las contradicciones entre profesión y oficio que hoy abruman a arquitectos, asombran o escandalizan a quienes observan desde la barrera, y empujan a la reactivación de la lucha (y la política) malviviendo con la aceptación (eutanásica)… En tan apenas un par de semanas de junio la agenda de convocatorias de eventos de arquitectura, para quien atiende la agenda desde el norte de la península ibérica –o si se prefiere, desde el sur de Europa- ha resultado de una muy especial intensidad y precisión: La Mostra di Archittetura “fundamentals”, en Venecia, BCN RE.SET, en Barcelona y el III Congreso Internacional de Arquitectura y Sociedad, en Pamplona, se han sucedido en perfecta continuidad. No pretendo con este documento entrar en el pormenor de las tres convocatorias sino ofrecer una reflexión –algo alambicada, ruego disculpas de antemano- sobre una contingencia transversal que identifica en el devenir del profesional arquitecto, hoy en carne viva, algunas contradicciones contemporáneas para terminar desencadenando una noticia sorprendente. Si dejamos por un momento inertes los nuevos prejuicios y lugares comunes de lo periodística o políticamente correcto y atendemos exclusivamente a la pura y espontánea sensibilidad profesional resulta palmario que cualquiera de los tres acontecimientos: expositivo en Venecia, celebrativo en Barcelona y congresual en Pamplona, han de resultar en exquisiteces plenas...
