HORMA es un estudio de arquitectura fundado en 2012 en Valencia que basa su práctica en el desarrollo de arquitectura a medida; a medida de cada usuario, cada lugar, cada paisaje y cada contexto.
Materia, geometría y luz son las herramientas que nos permiten dotar al espacio del carácter que lo convierte en una atmósfera singular.
Nos interesa pensar y trabajar a mano, tanto en el estudio como en la obra, introduciendo la experimentación como parte del desarrollo. Entendemos que lo manual es único, capaz de dotar a la obra de la virtud de lo irrepetible.
Los procesos y recursos empleados son contemplados desde el origen del proyecto con el objetivo de minimizar el impacto que puedan generar en su entorno, proponiendo una arquitectura consciente y respetuosa con el pasado, presente y futuro.
Nuestro trayectoria, fundamentalmente centrada en el ámbito residencial y multi-residencial, nos ha permitido entender que cada proyecto debe ser único. Así, planteamos la arquitectura y el interiorismo en la misma línea de trabajo, donde retos pequeños y grandes se abordan sin distinción.
HORMA, desde sus orígenes, combina su práctica profesional con la docencia con el objetivo de enseñar lo aprendido pero, sobre todo, de seguir investigando y aprendiendo cada día.
HORMA is an architecture office founded in 2012 in Valencia that bases its practice on the development of custom architecture; fitted to each user, each place, each landscape and each context.
Matter, geometry and light are the tools that allow us to give the space the character that makes it a unique atmosphere.
We are interested in thinking and working by hand, both in the studio and on the job, introducing experimentation as part of the development. We understand that the manual is unique, capable of endowing the work with the virtue of the unrepeatable.
The processes and resources used are contemplated from the origin of the project with the aim of minimizing the impact that they can generate in its environment, proposing an architecture that is conscious and respectful of the past, present and future.
Our trajectory, mainly focused on the residential and multi-residential area, has allowed us to understand that each project must be unique. Thus, we propose architecture and interior design in the same line of work, where small and large challenges are developed without distinction.
HORMA, from its origins, combines its professional practice with teaching in order to teach what it has learned but, above all, to continue researching and learning every day.
