Biografía:

Estudió arquitectura en la universidad de Waseda, Tokyo.
Desde 1998 a 2000 hizo las prácticas profesionales en el despacho de arquitectos EMBT, Enric Miralles Benedetta Tagliabue con la beca de Bunka-cho (gobierno japonés).
Entró al editorial Actar en 2000 y hasta hoy se dedica a editar libros de arquitectura y diseño gráfico, también desde 2012 con su propio sello: SPREAD

Tomoko Sakamoto studied architecture at Waseda University in Tokyo and got Master degree there.
After working at EMBT (Enric Miralles Benedetta Tagliabue Arquitectes Asociats) as intern with a scholarship of Japanese government, joined Actar and worked as an editor of architecture and graphic design, curator and designer of exhibitions.

David and Tomoko founded book design studio Spread in Spring 2012, and continue their professional career as graphic designer and editor, and try to spread it to widen their working field.
